Space Shuttle Dump

Recently during the on going mission of the space shuttle Discovery a.k.a STS-128, the orbiter dumped it’s toilet waste into the earths atmosphere as the crew was preparing for the re-entry procedure, creating a spectacular visual effect as sunlight hit the spraying water. During the dump the water freezes due to extreme coldness and when the sunlight hit’s these freeze droplets the ice quickly sublimes to form water vapours and disperses in space. This was an unusually large dump, about 150 pounds (68 kg).

Below is the same picture but in it International Space Station is also visible.
